Ubuntu, and I really don't know what else to write in this blog's title xD

Well, I knew Linux since I was a kid, since my dad had a Linux OS on our PC back then, and all my memories of that is a dark blue penguin desktop, and all I did there was play games which was unique to the Linux OS.

However, Linux's extension, Ubuntu, was introduced to me about 2 weeks ago, ni our CMSC11 Lab class, and let's all be honest, it's entertaining to move around windows in Ubuntu because it's wiggly! Hahaha! ~(._.~) (~^_^)~

Anyway, I'm still new to Ubuntu, so I can't really say I know a lot right now, but I really think it's more efficient compared to the most popular OS, which is Windows. I think that once one can get used to using Ubuntu, one can be more organized, can divide work easier, and be more efficient, as I already have stated.

It was also in Ubuntu that I first experienced being a true BSCS student, since it was my first time to program with gedit and using the terminal to check, compile, and run programs. Yayyyy! \:D/

I hope that Ubuntu will be friendly to me until I graduate and maybe when I think of downloading Ubuntu for my laptop. :)

Overall, Ubuntu, for me, is a potentially good, usable, efficient OS that many people can use, also considering that it is free, and has wiggly windows when moved! Haha. :D

A blog about blogging

I didn't really get the concept of blogging before. I didn't really get it. It's like, "Hey, read about my life!", or "My life is interesting so read about it." Am I bitter? Haha. That's funny, because I'm blogging about how I didn't really get blogging. Although I'm getting the hang of blogging after the one I wrote just a while ago(About yourself daw!), I think I'm still far away (And I'm not planning to go near it) from blogging personally for the public to read. I'd rather be written about than to write about myself, both metaphorically and literally, if I would get to that point of fame. But hey, this isn't a hate blog (which kinds of contradicts itself, well, in this case I contradict myself!), I'm just writing what I think about blogging. :]

Well, at this moment, the blogging person density(Persons blogging per unit area and time) in a certain place and time is high(because of the current exercise in CMSC2, HAHA!). Yes, I like inventing terms. :)) But still, imagine if the BPD(blogging person density) considering A(unit area) = the whole world, would be so high, that maybe 70-80% of the people are blogging, then the number of views in each blog would lessen since the number of blogs would increase, and there would be more writers than readers. Therefore, destroying the purpose of a blog, which is to be read. ARGH, my mind is getting creative again. :)) I love it when I think like that, and I have someone to talk with it about, which is very unlikely.

I just paused for about 2-4minutes, thinking of what to write, but I came up with nothing, except for what I am writing now. Haha. I guess I thought about blogs enough for one day, so I'll end this blog with my favorite smiley! \:D/ Yay! One more blog to go for today! Haha! \:D/

About yourself daw!

My name is Mark Angelo T. Gabriel, and I have been in Earth for at least 16 years now. I'm not really the type to "blog" about everything that happens in my life, like "I ate at this restaurant with my friends!", or "This movie is awesome!", or something like that. But nonetheless, I'd be willing to try, at least for CMSC2. :D

Well, what do you want to know about me? Hmm. Well, if you want specifics, I am 5'8'' tall (the last time I checked), 55~ish kilograms (And yes, I am underweight :[ well, at least I am the last time I checked xD), and I like thinking, especially about math, and about being efficient all the time. I also have a girlfriend and we're its our 3rd monthsary tomorrow! Yay! \:D/ I really don't know what else to say, but I guess I'll start with when I was small.

Okay, I was born on the 4th of June, year 1994, and yada yada yada, long story short, I grew up as a normal kid, when I made mistakes my parents told me what is right, and all the other things normal kids would do. When I was in elementary, it was my dream to learn how to play the guitar. My bestfriends-since-birth and I, except for one, studied how to play the guitar together, in our 1st year at high school. The other one, Kairos, however, studied how to play the guitar a little later than us. And fast forwarding, we learned how to play the guitar! Hooray! \:D/ At the summer of 2nd year at high school, I learned how to play the drums, and in my 3rd year highschool days, I self-studied how to play the piano and had formal lessons when I was graduating already. And alas, this is what made the musical me. :D

As for my academic side, I never really gave much care until 4th year high school. I am good at Math, or if I were to be honest, I love it. On the other hand, I sucked in History and Filipino. I remember the time in my elementary days, when I had to ask my friend in a Filipino exam what "parisukat" and "tatsulok" even meant! And I got sent to the principal's office because of that. :| Aaaaaaaaaaaaanyway, elementary and high school was fun, especially high school, when my friends and I almost always have a game or two after classes, and we quitted playing as often as that when we were already 4th year students. In my graduating days, I was the school's choice, together with our valedictorian, when it comes to mathematical competitions, although I have no place in the honor roll. And in my first semester at UPLB, I got a grade of 1.00 in Math17, which I am really proud of. Hooray again for me! \:D/ I really like that smiley, you know, this, \:D/. It's so cool and cute! Hahaha!

Well, you get to know me more when you know me, and if you want to know me more, reading this blog does little. So if you want to know me more, I am free every MWFs at... Hahaha! Just joking. Thanks for reading! :D
